Ticketholdr (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Ticketholdr mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data.
We built Ticketholdr to help season ticket holders manage, trade, and sell their tickets. We collect only the data needed to make that work, and we handle it with care.

- Co-Owner Information: Names and email addresses of people you add as co-owners of your season tickets.

- We do not track your precise location.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Operate the App: Create and manage your account, display your tickets, and process trades between co-owners.
- Process Ticket Sales: List your tickets on marketplace platforms, match buyers, and coordinate ticket transfers.
- Send Payouts: Transfer sale proceeds to your PayPal or Venmo account, minus our platform fee.

4. Marketplace Credentials
To enable automatic ticket transfer when your tickets sell, the App asks for your season ticket account login credentials (e.g., Ticketmaster, AXS, or StubHub). Here's what you should know:
- Why we need them: When a ticket sells, we use your credentials to initiate the transfer to the buyer automatically, so you don't have to do it manually.
- How we store them: Credentials are transmitted securely and stored encrypted on our servers. They are never stored in plain text.
- Your responsibility: By providing your marketplace credentials, you confirm you have the right to use those credentials and that doing so is consistent with the terms of your marketplace account. We recommend using a dedicated password for this purpose.
- You can remove them: You can delete your stored credentials at any time from the Account Logins screen in the App.
5. Payouts and Tax Information
When your ticket sells through Ticketholdr, we send your payout minus our 10% platform fee to your PayPal or Venmo account.
Important tax notice: Under IRS regulations, PayPal is required to report aggregate payouts exceeding $600 in a calendar year to the IRS via Form 1099-K. If your ticket sales through Ticketholdr exceed this threshold, you may receive a 1099-K from PayPal and may have tax obligations. We recommend consulting a tax professional regarding your specific situation. Ticketholdr does not provide tax advice.
6. Push Notifications
We use OneSignal to send push notifications. You may receive notifications about:
- Upcoming game days
- Ticket sale confirmations and payout status
